Product Submissions

By January 1, 2010, all products regulated as NHP must be registered, labelled, and sold in accordance with the NHP regulations. If your NHP product already has a DIN, it is important that DIN transfer submissions are filed well in advance of the January 1, 2010 date.

All new products that meet the definition of an NHP must be registered with Health Canada. These products must be labelled in accordance with NHP labelling requirements and have an NPN (Natural Product Number) on its label in order to be sold in Canada.
